Orchid Announces Significant Promotions within Operations

Yesenia Ortiz named Vice President of Program Operations; David Bedard named Senior Vice President of Operations

As Orchid welcomes a new executive leadership team, we are also pleased to announce two other significant promotions.

The first promotion is Yesenia Ortiz, who has been promoted to Vice President of Program Operations. Prior to her promotion, she served as an Ancillary Services Team Lead. Her career path at Orchid is a testament to the possibilities for all Orchid team members who work hard and challenge themselves to go the extra mile. Yesenia started with us in November 2013 as a DME Care Coordinator and within two years she was promoted to a Complex Care Coordinator. After a year within that role, she was offered the opportunity to manage a team of care coordinators handling referrals for a new Ancillary Benefits Management (ABM) program. Since then, she has been successfully leading and managing the operations of the ABM line of business. In her new role, Yesenia will continue to lead the expanded operations of the ABM program.

The second promotion is David Bedard who has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations. In his elevated role, David will manage and oversee operations and quality assurance of our ancillary services. He has 33 years of experience in workers’ compensation and has been with Orchid for over five years, successfully leading our complex care services team. David’s vast expertise in DME, rehab equipment, home health, and catastrophic care have been a tremendous asset to our company.

Congratulations to you both; each of you are vital members of the Orchid Leadership Team. Thank you for all that you do!
